Account

The Account page lets you check your current signed-in identity, confirm connection status, and manage the emails bound to your account — find it under Settings → Account. Whenever you want to know “which account am I signed in with, which gateway am I connected to, am I online,” this is where you can see it at a glance.

1 · Overview

Your account is the identity credential you use with Aureink. This page brings all your “identity”-related information together in one place: who you’re signed in as, which gateway the client is connected to, and whether the sign-in is still valid. You won’t need to change anything here day to day; come back when you need to switch your primary email or verify the connection status.

2 · Page overview

〔Figure: the Settings → Account page, highlighting the current account, connected gateway, and sign-in status〕

  • Current account — the sign-in email and identity you’re using.
  • Connected gateway — the service gateway address the client is currently connected to.
  • Sign-in status — shows whether the sign-in is valid (e.g. “Signed in”); when it expires, you’ll need to sign in again.

3 · Managing multiple emails

You can bind multiple emails to your account and designate one of them as the primary email.

  1. Add an email — enter the email address you want to bind; after you submit, the system sends a verification code to that address.
  2. Verify the code — enter the code you received to complete the binding.
  3. Set as primary — choose one of your bound emails as the primary email, used as your default identity and notification address.
  4. Delete — remove any email you no longer use at any time.

Tip: Signing in, registering, and joining an organization are all done through the browser; this page only handles account information and email management. For the full sign-in flow, see “Sign in & join an organization.”

4 · Important notes

Important notes

  • Information collection and use: your email is used only for identity verification, sign-in verification, and necessary notifications.
  • Security tip: your primary email matters for account recovery and receiving notifications, so make sure it can receive mail properly; never forward verification codes to anyone.
  • Permission boundary: your account identity determines which capabilities are available to you in personal / organization scope, and you cannot escalate your own privileges in the client.
