Quickstart

Aureink is an AI workspace that runs on your computer. It doesn’t just understand plain language — it thinks things through, planning and executing complex tasks on its own like a colleague, and the documents, spreadsheets, and reports it produces are ready to use. This page helps you see what it looks like and how to use it in just a few minutes.

1 · Overview

Key strengths

  • Assign a task in one sentence — describe the outcome you want, and Aureink breaks it into steps and runs them.
  • Works with your files — reads, organizes, and batch-processes local files inside a Workspace you authorize.
  • Extensible — plug in more capabilities and business processes through Skills and Agents.
  • Controllable and traceable — sensitive actions are confirmed according to the permission mode, the process is reviewable, and your organization can govern it centrally.

2 · System requirements

SystemMinimum versionBuild
macOS (Apple silicon)macOS 13 VenturaApple Silicon
macOS (Intel)macOS 13 VenturaIntel
WindowsWindows 10 1809 (build 17763, x64) or laterWindows x64

macOS 12 Monterey and earlier releases are not supported, nor are Windows builds older than 17763. A supported system version lets Aureink run tasks reliably in a secure, isolated environment.

3 · Interface layout

When you open Aureink, the main interface breaks into roughly four areas, from left to right:

  • Activity bar (the leftmost column of icons) — switch between the four main areas:
    • Chat — the main entry point for assigning tasks and talking to Aureink.
    • Agents — manage and get Agents.
    • Scheduled Tasks — view and manage recurring automated tasks.
    • Settings — Account, AI services, security, channels, appearance, and more.
  • Sidebar — the list of past conversations; at the top you can switch Workspace / organization (personal scope and organization scope).
  • Main area — the conversation and execution for the current session.
  • Result panel (right side) — view outputs, files, changes, and previews, so you can watch results without leaving the conversation.

4 · Three ways to get started

Different roles get going fastest from different places:

  • Employees (put it to work) — sign in → run your first task → get comfortable with creating tasks, conversations, and viewing results.
  • Administrators (set it up) — go to Console overview to distribute capabilities, manage members and departments, and set seats and quota.
  • IT / security (lock it down) — learn about permission modes and the Security Center and sandbox, and tighten things to your company’s policy.

Next step: install the client first — see Download & install →
