Organization & workspaces

The Organization & workspaces page is where you manage the organization you belong to, along with the default location for new conversations, Agent files, and generated results. On one side is “which organization you belong to and what you can use inside it,” on the other is “where your work gets saved by default” — both are handled here.

1 · Overview

Aureink has two usage scopes: personal scope is your own space, and organization scope is the collaborative space you enter after joining an organization. Switching scope changes the capabilities and data boundaries available to you. This page helps you manage your organization identity and set where on disk files are saved by default.

2 · Personal scope and organization scope

Personal scopeOrganization scope
Space ownershipYou personallyThe organization you joined
Available capabilitiesThe capabilities you’ve installed / configured personallyThe effective capabilities the organization has granted and assigned to you
Data and usageBelong to you personallyKept isolated; usage counts against the organization

In a nutshell: personal scope is “my own turf,” organization scope is “the company’s turf,” and the data on each is isolated from the other. The sidebar lets you switch between workspace / organization.

3 · Managing your organization

〔Figure: the Organization & workspaces page, highlighting the entry points for creating an organization, joining an organization, the capability overview, and opening Console〕

  • Create an organization — create a new organization and become its owner.
  • Edit details — change basic information such as the organization name.
  • Join via invite link — use an invite link shared by someone else to join an existing organization.
  • Leave an organization — leave an organization you’ve joined; the sole owner cannot leave (you must transfer ownership or disband it first).
  • Open the management Console in one click — jump straight to the enterprise admin console for governance.
  • View the organization’s granted capability overview — see which capabilities the organization has opened up to you (that is, your effective capabilities).

4 · Default storage path (Workspace)

The default storage path is the default save directory for new conversations, Agent files, and generated results. Once set, the files Aureink produces all land here, making them easy to find and back up.

  1. Change — pick a new local folder as the default save directory.
  2. Open — open the current directory in your system file manager to view the generated files.
  3. Restore default — reset to the system default directory in one click.

5 · Important notes

Important notes

  • Data boundary: data in personal scope and organization scope is isolated from each other, so confirm your current scope before you start working.
  • Quota consumption: usage in organization scope counts against the organization’s seats and quota, not your personal account.
  • Permission boundary: the capabilities available to you in organization scope are decided by the organization’s grants; the client cannot escalate its own privileges.
  • Usage tip: after changing the default storage path, keep an eye on the new directory’s disk space and backup strategy.
