Enterprise knowledge
Enterprise knowledge is organization-scoped knowledge. Turn it on, and while executing a task Aureink references the materials within your organization’s authorization scope — policies, standards, product docs, historical know-how, and more — so results better match the organization’s stance and facts.
1 · Overview
Enterprise knowledge and “Memory” solve problems at different levels: Memory is personally scoped, recording “your” preferences and projects; Enterprise knowledge is organization-scoped, referencing the materials the “organization” has authorized for you. The former travels with you; the latter follows the organization’s grants.
For employees, Enterprise knowledge lets a task “connect to” the organization’s existing knowledge without manually uploading a pile of background files; for the organization, the retrieval scope always stays within what’s authorized — controllable and governable.
2 · Where to turn it on
Enterprise knowledge is a conversation-level toggle, and can also be set to on by default:
〔Figure: the “Enterprise knowledge” toggle near the input box when creating a task, highlighting its location〕
- Turn on for a single conversation — when creating a task, turn on “Enterprise knowledge” near the input box, and this task will reference organization knowledge.
- Set on by default — under Settings → Interaction & Execution, set it to on by default, and new tasks will carry it automatically, with no need to turn it on each time.
Retrieval scope = the currently authenticated organization. An employee can only retrieve the knowledge base spaces granted to their department or role — that is, what you can find depends on which spaces the administrator has granted to your department or role in Console, linked with Console knowledge base authorization. Organizations have a default company shared library (readable by all employees); only published documents are searchable — drafts are not used by agents.
Where the content comes from: administrators maintain and authorize content in Console “knowledge base spaces” (shared library, draft uploads, quality review, then publish; restricted spaces for sensitive material). You can also tap Save to enterprise knowledge on an attachment in the client; after an admin reviews, ingests as draft, and publishes, it becomes searchable (see Console knowledge base spaces).
3 · How to use Enterprise knowledge
- Confirm your identity — make sure you’re currently in organization mode (authenticated to the right organization); personal mode does not use Enterprise knowledge.
- Turn on the toggle — turn on “Enterprise knowledge” when creating a task, or set it to on by default under Settings → Interaction & Execution.
- Assign the task as usual — describe the task as you normally would, and Aureink will automatically retrieve and reference relevant materials within the authorized scope.
- Contribute materials when useful — use Save to enterprise knowledge on an attachment chip to submit a valuable file for admin review.
- Turn off as needed — for tasks unrelated to organization knowledge, turn off the toggle to narrow the reference scope.

Tip: if you find a certain material can’t be retrieved, it’s most likely that the knowledge base space hasn’t been authorized to your department or role yet — contact your administrator to adjust the authorization in Console.
4 · Important notes
Important notes
- Only takes effect in organization mode with the toggle on: personal mode does not use Enterprise knowledge; a conversation with the toggle off will not retrieve organization knowledge.
- Retrieval scope follows Console authorization: you can only retrieve the knowledge base spaces granted to your department or role, and the client cannot expand the scope on its own.
- Personal mode is isolated from organization knowledge: personal use will not read any Enterprise knowledge.
- Review results: Enterprise knowledge is meant to assist answers; review key content manually before delivery.
Disclaimer: the content and authorization of Enterprise knowledge are maintained by your organization in Console, and its retrievable scope follows the organization’s grants. Use it only within the purposes your organization specifies.
