Weixin

Once you connect Weixin, Aureink can reply to messages automatically inside your Weixin, and it can also initiate messages according to your settings. Weixin uses QR-code login and needs no credentials — quick to connect, with fairly rich configurable direct-chat/group policies and proactive messaging.

1 · Overview

Connection method: scan a QR code. Scan once with Weixin on your phone to bring Aureink in; from then on it sends and receives messages automatically on that account, and you can enable proactive messaging.

2 · Before you connect

  • Keep the client running — the Aureink desktop client must be online for the channel to keep sending and receiving messages.
  • A working phone — a phone already logged in to Weixin, used to scan the code.
  • Network reachable — make sure Weixin’s service can be reached normally.

3 · QR-code login

  1. Open Settings → Channels, click Connect on the Weixin card, and the page shows a QR code.
  2. Scan the QR code on the screen with Weixin on your phone and confirm the login.
  3. Wait a moment for the connection to establish; the page shows the logged-in/connected status.

4 · Verify the connection

To tell whether it’s connected, check two things:

  • QR-code login succeeded — the page shows logged in, with the connection status normal.
  • Send a test message and watch for a reply — send a line to a conversation and see whether Aureink replies as expected.

Only when both hold is it truly connected.

5 · Direct-chat and group policies

You can separately control who the bot responds to in direct chats (DMs) and in groups, with allowlist support for precise permits:

  • Direct-chat (DM) policy — set the response scope for direct chats.
  • Group policy — set the response scope in groups.
  • Allowlist — respond only to targets on the list, handy for validating on a small scale first.

6 · Proactive messages

Weixin lets Aureink initiate messages; the entry point is at the proactive messages in Home Channel. You can finely control who to send to, when to send, and how to handle it:

  • Do-not-disturb window — set a time window during which it won’t disturb you; it won’t send proactively within that window.
  • Authorized targets — send proactive messages only to targets you’ve explicitly authorized.
  • Per-target permission mode — set the handling method for each target individually:
Permission modeDescription
Auto-replyThe AI answers this target automatically
ManualYou handle it manually; nothing is sent automatically
ScheduledSent at the set time
By AgentHandled by the bound Agent

7 · Important notes

Important notes

  • Permission boundaries — once connected, the AI sends and receives messages on behalf of this Weixin account of yours; enable proactive messages only for authorized targets.
  • Messages can’t be unsent — a message that has been sent cannot be recalled; validate on a small scale before proactive and scheduled sending.
  • Stay online — when the Aureink client is offline the channel can’t send or receive.
  • Quota usage — both auto-replies and proactive messages consume usage quota.
